Following on from the announcement by EMD UK (governing body for group exercise) I will be re-opening my classes from w/b 29th March outside where I can teach up to 30 people (including teacher). All classes will follow the Covid rules of social distancing, hand sanitizing and mask wearing (until exercise commences).
Tuesdays @ 9.30 am at Warham Reading Rooms – an hour long aerobics class
Wednesdays @ 1.30 pm at Colkirk – an hour long body conditioning class – bring own equipment
Thursday @ 9.30 am at Colkirk – an hour long body conditioning class – bring own equipment
The class held at The Venue in Holt will re-open inside on Wednesday, 19th May.
All these dates are based on the current roadmap opening stages and could be subject to change.
As the halls at Wells and Hindringham are due to remain closed for sometime we are now moving to a new venue – Warham Reading Rooms. I will be running two classes on a Tuesday morning but, if numbers dictate, can easily add another class. The new classes will be at 9.30 am and 10.40 am for one hour – cost £6.00.
I am currently running 2 body conditioning classes outdoors on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9.30 am at Colkirk and 1 outdoor aerobics class in Wells Next the Sea on Tuesdays at 2.00 pm. All classes are socially distanced and require no equipment.
Unfortunately and with sadness I am writing to say that all my classes will be closed until further notice. Keep moving at home, put on some music and dance around the lounge, juggle toilet rolls whatever keeps you active and your heart beating a little faster.

We ended our British Heart Foundation Charity fundraising on a total of £1,216.23 – thank you to everybody who donated money or prizes for our raffle (that raised £148).
To date, since 2011, we have raised £10,568.17 for a variety of charities so well done everybody. Keep the money rolling in 2020!
We are gathering at 10.30 am on Friday, 13th September at the bottom of the ramp/path leading to Norwich Castle to take part in a two hour walk around the sites of CJ Sansom’s book Tombland. This is not an organised tour it is just me reading from a downloaded script so be prepared!
We start at the castle, take in many of Norwich’s well known buildings and we end up at Kett’s Heights. The walk can be continued along the river but that is your choice after we disperse.
Anyone can come along – partners, wives, husbands, friends – but sorry no dogs as some areas might not be canine friendly.
Look forward to seeing you on Friday if not before in class.
The walk due to take the place of the Wells class this morning is not happening so please do NOT turn up.

Due to the European elections there won’t be a body conditioning class at Hindringham on Thursday, 23rd May as the hall is being used as a polling station. However, due to the Zumba teacher having a holiday I can offer the aerobics class on Friday, 24th May at 9.30 am instead.
A good time was had by all 22 who attended the behind the scenes tour of the Theatre Royal in Norwich. We saw the set of The Bodyguard, spoke to the Wardrobe Mistress, took a look at costumes and went underneath the stage to see the trap door, lighting etc. This was followed by either an excellent two course lunch or cream tea – we had the choice.
If anybody is interested in theatre this is a very worthwhile tour and very good value; the tour alone only cost £5.00!
Our next trip to Norwich will be in August when we will walk in the footsteps of CJ Sansom’s hero, Shardlake, basing our walk on the latest book, Tombland.
